Re: To the M* Fall Forum Retreat 2014 Group :)
This is the most unusual trip for me. Usually I am trying to decide- should I take that pair of shoes or this pair, oh what the heck I'll take both pair. This time, I'll wear all black so one pair of shoes will do for the week. I am trying to eliminate everything that is not absolutely necessary so I can bring home more quilting things and buy material in Hamilton.
I am so excited to meet everyone and see Jenny's trunk show. If I can figure out how to post pictures we'll put lots on. Of course, blackmail pictures remain within the group. It should be fun. I wonder how many jelly rolls you can fit in a purse?

We can show you some very creative ways to wrap yourself in jelly rolls so you can get through customs without a body check. Be sure to pack clothes at least three sizes too large for your flight home.

Lorie, when you are bored one night, type the address of M* into Google Maps and when it comes up hit street view. You can then click on the street and "drive" around Hamilton. I'm sure you can do the same with Google Earth, but I find that takes so much memory that my computer doesn't like it.

Re: To the M* Fall Forum Retreat 2014 Group :)
Ok that does it. I'm not giving my bail money to anyone else. if it gets spent on material, it better be me doing the spending. By the way, does anyone know how the food is in the Hamilton jail? It would be a great way to stay longer and stay within budget. Also you could get in some really dedicated sewing time. Might be an idea to bring hand stitching as they might consider my sewing machine as contraband. I think that it is going to be a blast, everyone seems to have that sick sense of humour that I have.
Love the draping of jelly rolls Sandy. I'm pretty sure customs wouldn't mind. Ha Ha. I love your thinking.

I just cannot stand it. I am saving my pennies (and I do mean pennies, lol) for next year. I am so jealous, and at the same time so happy for all of you to have this opportunity to meet and play.
I too am looking forward to a lot of pictures - silly ones, fabric ones, etc, etc, etc.
Have fun, be safe, spend lots.

First of all, You say "Unusual", I say FUN!
Secondly, the bail money should be held by an independent party, but a true friend will be right there in the cell with you saying, "Wow, that was the most fun we have had in a while."
Re: To the M* Fall Forum Retreat 2014 Group :)
I can see now that this group is going to be a blast to be with. Reading all of these posts really has been fun and I know that getting to meet so many new folks this year and renewing friendships from last year is going to be wonderful. I just did not that there was so many of you with the same warped sense of humor as mine!!! I can hardly wait till next week.
