Sheldon (intrigued): You have a sarcasm sign?

So happy for you. What are the chances? Prayers being said for your friend.

Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here we might as well dance.
This sounds so exciting for you!! Keep us posted!

Wow Myrna, this is a great opportunity. I hope the two of you can come to an agreement about price and you come home with a new machine. And how nice to reconnect with an old friend from 'back in the day', too. As a nurse for many years I can tell you that post polio syndrome is a terrible terrible thing to suffer with. Just think, after surviving the original infection decades before it comes back to wreck the end of your life. I'm sure you've thought of it, but it would be so nice to finish one of those quilt tops for her. I'll bet she would love a quilt to snuggle with. Good luck tomorrow!
Congrats on your find ! Now you have a new friend again as well as a new machine.Good Luck and Happy Sewing.

Sounds great and you got to reconnect with an old friend. I agree with midge to finish one of those tops for her as a thank you.

How bizarre that your school friend is dealing with the same illness your brother had. What an incredible coincidence that you and she should cross paths again after so many years. As to the purchase, you are so lucky to have come across her add. Let us know how you like the set-up once you get rolling with it.
