I have a yellow oliso and I love it. As others have said, I think that yours must be defective silliness as mine also puts out lots of steam and irons so nicely. Not sure what the differences are but the the higher wattage has more steam.

I don't have either but would love to own one. I love the feature of it lifting when you put it down. I couldn't even guess at how many times I stood my iron up and then knocked it off the ironing board.

I agrre with Bubba - plenty of steam! I have the yellow model and love it. It gets plenty hot and I think sets seams better than my old iron. I habe hadnit a year and no complaints. I did not pay full, price, it was a black friday special at Joanns. The blue model sold out and they gave me the yellow atbthe sale price and put a 40% off competitor coupon on top. I think the girl made a mistake and questioned it, but she said she was right, so I said Merry Chrristmas to me!

I had a refurbished one I got on a "Deal of the Day" site online. It ironed well, but the tank started leaking after a year and I had to get rid of it. Now I have a Panasonic cordless that works quite well. But you have to return it back to the charging base; it doesn't automatically lift up like the Oliso.

I HAD an orange one and loved it until it decided to do the opposite of what it was supposed to do. I contacted the company but they would have charged an arm and a leg - just about the cost of a new one to fix it. I had it for two years and it has a very limited one year warranty.

If I had the extra money, I would still get another but it was a rare splurge that we couldn't justify again.
