    Default Just had to share

Yesterday I finally conquered a big problem for me. I"m blind in one eye which throws off my depth perception (like I have none). I finally was able to sew a straight stitch that was 1/4" and looked good. I haven't been able to do that 4 years. Yippee. I know that sounds ridiculously insignificant but to me it was monumental and I just wanted to share with my quilting family.j

Good for you! I have a problem with depth perception too but still have both eyes. It is corrected with glasses and I must wear them or things get off.

I knew we had something in common.

Never thought of that being the reason I can't sew straight though.
    Be warned. I am BORED.
    This could be dangerous.

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??

I think this is monumental too! So happy for you! Our body doesn't always cooperate, but when we learn to adapt, look out! Nice work!

Mary, that IS a big deal! Very happy for you, we sometimes don't realize how important something like this is, and as we get older, we aren't quite as quick to compensate for changes in our body. Whoever said, "Getting old isn't for sissies, was exactly correct!"
