We were talking about my quilting and I was telling him that I just ordered some thread. I told him it's a bit pricier than some of the other thread but I like it. He said "spare no expense" and I thought he was being sarcastic and I said "well it's better thread than some of the other". He said "I wasn't being mean.....how can you expect to make good quality quilts without good quality supplies, why waste money on that thread that breaks when you tug on it." I will see if he remembers saying that in a couple of weeks when I make a trip to Country Fabrics!

I am not a fabric snob and will buy what I like, where I like....but I think I am becoming a thread snob LOL

Shirley, I think you should try a new trick on him. Tell him the best thread is available at Missouri Star and in order to pick what you want you need to view it up close and possible. However, the only time you can do this would be September 23-28 . . . .
