Thanks for sharing. Sounds like you had a lot of fun and self control if you only had carry ons to go home with.

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??

I'm happy you had a good time. A few of those places are always on my list when I go to Southern Utah.

I'm glad you made it home okay. The freeway between Las Vegas and Utah got completely washed out and the way around is wayyyyyy out of the way. I was concerned about you. When we were in Iowa this past summer we toured the country side in the dark because of flooded roads. A little unsettling when you are in unfamiliar territory.

Sounds like you are having some fun traveling and with a cruise coming up. Fun times!!!!!

OK...so here's what I got. Like I said before, space and pennies were limited, so I was pretty well-behaved.

Our Las Vegas FARTs (Fabric Acquisition Road Trips)-purchases.jpg

    • Bee My Honey charm pack and scrap bag
    • Sunnyside mini charm pack
    • Riley Blake Country Girl yardage (This will make a good cheater quilt for Quilts for Kids)
    • 6 fat quarters of ABC123 by American Jane (These were the 6 for $6 deal)
    • Button Up pattern by Cluck Cluck Sew
    • Quilter's Travel Companion
    • The Row by Row kit from Quilted Works in St. George
    • 6 fat quarters of Comma by Zen Chic (same $6 deal)

So in all I spent well under $100 and had a blast. The trip was well worth it!

Pulling in toward that green on the lower left. Quite a great haul for your pennies - those are the best kind. I have the Quilter's Travel Companion - it's great when you are doing road trips.

I really like that one too. I think I'll use the button pattern for those fat quarters.

Sounds like it was a great trip. I live in Bullhead City, Az. Not far from Havasu. I have been to Fabrics Unlimited and to Connies Quilt Shop in Kingman. Hey, I should have had you pick me up and tagalong with you ladies. LOL.....I just may have to make a trip to Henderson and check out that quilt shop,

    Up next...Utah!
Pahrump has a quilt shop? Brothels are what that town are "famous" for! I drove through there when we live in vegas on our way to death valley... like you said.. not a town I'd like to go back to! Funny tho, that they have a quilt shop!
