I was just looking around at different sites and found this. Thought you guys could have some fun with it at the retreat.

what a fun way to add fun to a retreat .....love it
I think this would be FUN, FUN, FUN!!
We did something similar in our quilt guild but used charm squares. It was a bit confusing though because no one seemed to understand the instructions and knew their left from their right . . . They found blank 'dice' at a local school supply store and marked the indicators with permanent marker.
Oh... how I wish I could be there. :icon_sniff::icon_sniff::icon_sniff:
Sounds like fun! Cil.......if you have a party for the forum at your house........I will bring a cheese ball and crackers! :D
This sounds like fun. I'm doing a retreat in October, I think I'm going to email the one over the retreat and ask them about this. It would break up the day.
What an ice breaker! Sounds like great fun and a party waiting to happen!
This sounds like such a fun activity!
looks like lots of fun!!!!
Sounds good to me!
I have an idea that would be easier than the dice . . . but you all know I'm a hoarder, right? I have a slew of wooden letter blocks from Scrabble games - put the letters C, L, R, X and O in a bag or box and pull one . . . return letter, pass the box and repeat.
I'd play that game! What a great way to swap fabric ... and then make a JRR to memorialize the trip. Of course with my luck I'd walk away with only enough to make a tiny baby size quilt.
I screamed "WHAT?"? when I saw the title! Then when I read the directions for the game, it looks like fun! We could do that game Saturday night!
What a hoot! I wish I was coming to meet everyone in person. (Maybe next year!)
This game sounds fun. I might share it with a local sewing group!
What an awesome way to make a quilt to have a great memory by :)
We did that with charm squares at one of my meetings....it was a lot of fun!
