Today' DD was PERFECT.... I mean really perfect..... Don't you see? I had to order it,,,, right?

Monday I got a long awaited wish, and got to (finally) attend yhe every other month Good Sam Hospital NICCU quilting day.... Most of my quilt club buddies have been going for a year or more, but I could never go.... I was thrilled...

It's a great day..... We met in a church gym.... Quilts were n every wall, and laid over folded chairs..... Quilters brought breakfast treats, and everyone brought a dish to share for lunch..... I took my to die for brownies.

Lots of round tables were set up...complete with cords....and there were ironing stations... A couple of us brought our small ironing pads and irons to serve at tables... I ironed for my group.

It was SO inspiring.... Everyone was given a made up kit, and the sewing machines began to. hum.... I was kept busy pressing bindings, patches and blocks.....

So..... The last couple of days I have buying a few things here and there, to add to my stash of baby appropriate fabrics. The Pretty Pastel charm packs I ordered from M* even arrived....

Don't you see? Today's DD was meant for me...... How could I turn down such a deal? It will make at least two Of Jenny's Double Sliced NICCU quilts...... For twins...... (Some did make doubles for twins). I HAD to order it, or something bad might have happened..... The Quilt Fairy meant me to have it for my NICCU and PL quilts. Some may go to our local crisis pregnancy center....

Ahhhh.....cool days are coming..... Lucy and I are going to have fun..... The little dogs will help......
