Ok... I need opinions :-)

I love quilting w/variegated thread.....I don't know why, but I just do!

I like the variegated thread. I like the way the butterflies drift in and out of focus as the thread color changes against the background. Your FMQ skills are looking good.

I like "B" myself. The butterflies look great.

Gotta love variegated thread. I have plenty and will be using it. Cant wait to see your finished quilt. Awesome work.

I agree.... But it really depends on how much you want the quilting to stand out.... The second option looks soft and appealing to me..

For me it's A

I like the 2nd picture (the variegated thread). It shows up, but not too much. I know that this is a new quilting pattern for you and the variegated thread blends more and will help hide any imperfections in your stitching. It's going to be a lovely quilt. :)

Aaand another vote for variegated, for the reasons mentioned before me (softer look, blends better, hids imperfections, etc.).
