I agree with you. That is why I do not mind spending my money on a new machine this upcoming new year. I can fmq, and easily do up to almost a queen size quilt on my Grace, but the king is just a bit too much. I have the money to go to a longarmer, I just do not want to give my money there - besides, I want to be the one that quilts it anyway. I have all the other tools, bought myself the Grace without enough education about machines at that time (over two years ago now). Had I known more about where I was going, I probably would have purchased a machine with a larger harp then.
