Re: Cost of LA quilting
Whatever happened to hand quilting and an old-fashioned quilting bee? With the cost of an LA machine, I don't think those prices are high, but I don't have that kind of money. But I am currently planning a quilt that should finish to about 81 x 81, and I may add another row of design work to the top to make it longer. I will start now to save for the cost of having it quilted at a shop with a LA, but I am also considering having it hand quilted by my friends, and myself. I have a PVC frame, and there are also ideas on youtube for frames.
