I am offering a cash reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons unknown who broke into my house and stuck the fusible interfacing to the bottom of my iron. I haven't found the point of entry yet but I am sure I will. I can't believe it was me who cut the interfacing to size and then forgot to remove the cut off piece before starting to iron:D
The iron needed cleaning but I could have done without all the glue.
Hmmmmm, I think I know who did it. How much do I get if I'm correct in my assumptions?

Been there, done that. Did you know if you just iron back and forth on an ordinary dryer sheet the glue will come right back off the iron. Makes the room smell nice too.
Vegetable oil will remove from a warm iron. I then cleaned with rubbing alcohol or you can use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer gel. It's not as bad as it seems.

Dryer sheet works.. (ask me how I know)... and for really bad,, there is a "paste" available at J's and possibly your local Walmart... that works, but is more time consuming...:)

Oh this sounds like an easy case....lol. And it is messy. But the next time I do this I will try that dryer sheet tip.
I did use the dryer sheet in combo with some rubbing alcohol. I always keep some used dryer sheets in the shop to wipe my safety glasses with. It helps keep the sawdust of the lenses.
There is a rumor that if you take a peek into a mirror, you will see the culprit. Just sayin'!

I know who did it! It was Mr. Nobody! He's responsible for a lot! Just ask any kid and they will tell you Nobody did it! :icon_shake:
I used a Mr Clean Magic eraser to get gunk (not sure what it was) off my iron. Worked great and didn't scratch the T-Fal finish.
