JC PENNEY DAYS/QUILT SHOW
Does anyone in or around Hamilton have any info on the JC Penney Days? I understand there is a quilt show, what else is involved? We are planning a trip to your little town to check out the MO* shops and the quilt show, we only have 1 day and really do not want to miss anything.

Re: JC PENNEY DAYS/QUILT SHOW
I was there last year and wasn't aware of any quilt show. There are various street vendors, most shops have sales, etc.
While this forum is owned by Missouri Star, we are from all over, but only a few are local to the Hamilton area.

Re: JC PENNEY DAYS/QUILT SHOW
The Fall Forum Get-Together will be held in September and the JC Penney Days will be going on at the same time. I googled to see if there was anything posted yet about the JC Penney celebration and didn't find anything. There is a schedule of events for the Forum Get-Together ... just scroll down past the fees to get the schedule. Hope this helps!

I am investigating that tomorrow. I'm traveling to Hamilton tomorrow and will meet with folks from MSQC about those details. I've also written to Al Doan for any info he has about the event.

Hey Jean, do you think that they considered us the quilt show last year since we laid out all the ones that we brought on the tables so people touring the retreat center would have something to look at?

Could be. They may have trumped that event up last year because of opening the retreat center last year. This year we may be like yesterday's news and nothing special will be happening. I'll find out, hopefully!
