    Thanks - just watched it.

    I have not made one yet - been thinking about it.

    But, how about doing just straight line quilting. Then when you attach the pocket, you straight line quilt it on and just continue the straight line across the quilt? That way when you flip it over all you see is straight line quilting and not where you attached the pocket.

    You could quilt the top and pocket (3 layers each) , then attach the pocket and bind. The pocket stitches might fade into the quilting stitches...there would only be the 2 side stitches showing. If that matters you could put a pocket on each side ??

    I made my qwillow pocket just like a quilt and then turned it right side out and stitched it closed.

    I have made one from a completed quilt. I made the quilted pocket from some left over blocks and backing fabric then hand stitched it to the back of the quilt.
