Default iron quilter- lots of OFF THEME quilts.

I just made a trip to the iron quilters to vote... there are lots of fascinating quilts there, some very simple, some very difficult, most are something on my bucket list, but there are lots of them that did not follow the rules... the lovely charm pack was to be used. I have my quilt 1/4 completed, had too many grandkids quilts to get out to finish and compete, but with all the talent in the contest I wouldnt have even come in close.

anyway, stop over and vote, only have a few more days.

I would not say there were a "LOT" of quilts that did not use the fabric. But, some. I doubt anyone has to worry about them, they probably won't make the top 25. There are so many quilts though. Really lots of participation. I like the basic quilts as much as the intricate more difficult quilts. I have not voted yet, I'm taking my time, looking every day and plan to vote before it's done. LOL

I voted, I loved so many!! Lots of people said some were sent by mistake and they did say to make the top 25 all rules had to followed. So they will not be included. So much hard work in a short time, they look fabulous! I saw lots of Dresden's and falling charms.

They can't make the top 25. Not sure why they didn't get deleted, but it's been stated several times that if by chance one of the quilts that doesn't contain the lovely charm pack, makes the top 25, it will be passed over for the next one, and essentially disqualified. The quilts that did not follow the instructions can not win.

No, they can't make the top 25 but they are taking up spaces that those of us relegated to the bottom rows would love to have. If you haven't voted yet, do go to the very bottom to see some of those quilts. Despite requests from many, M* has apparently refused to shuffle the order to make it fair for everyone.

Now that is a suggestion. Start at the bottom. There is a huge discrepancy in the amount of votes placed overall when you go from the top to the bottom of the page.

Agree! From #425! And on my computer you can't start at the bottom, because it takes forever to load all those pictures! And my ipad goes belly up half way through! Very frustrating!

However, I have gotten a lot of votes, and I thank each and every person who voted for me for having the patience to see them all! May the best quilter win, and they all are absolutely lovely!

Wonder how they loaded the pictures? I entered 2 weeks before the deadline. Did those get pushed down as the new entries came in? Grrr!

#425 on Facebook is someone named Hazel. They didn't use the same numbers. I still haven't figured out which quilt is yours! Hehe, I keep looking at the beds in the pictures ...

It takes a while but I looked at every lovely picture.

Don't worry about the ones who did not follow the rules - I doubt any of them make it to the top 25.
