The last time I tried to sew a dress was in 1969.... I sewed the ARM to the neck... Since then I have only made a couple of baby things, and one skirt... Other than quilting, sewing is not for me.... And even in quilting, my sewing isn't the best... It's amazing what washing, , drying and wrinkles can hide....

Forgive me? I just had to do that!

This is WHY I love quilting. I think my quilts look terrible until I wash them. Once crinkled, not only are they soft and lovely and vintage looking, all my mistakes magically disappear!

Definitely prewash for clothing. I am a prewasher though. But once made if it shrinks it could be a monkey that would need to wear it. better safe then sorry!
