Need inspiration......

I am looking at my fabrics for over a week now and have not been sewing at all.
Charmpacks, jellyrolls, layercakes, yardages.......have it all and no inspiration what so ever
I have been online looking for patterns, went through my magazines.....nothing.
Tomorrow I have the day off and the house to myself, perfect day for a project.......so PLEASE help me to get my inspiration back!
I need ideas or fun patterns to look at and get started!

Start small with something useful or salable and just have a lot of fun!

Sorry that you're in a funk...think we've all been there at one time or another. How about stepping away from sewing/quilting for a while and doing something different. Knitting, crochet ?? Just don't stop and do nothing..that can be a slippery slope! Then after a while the joy of quilting might come back with gusto. Baby steps....good luck

Have you looked at the Iron Quilter section? About every tutorial Jenny has done lately was represented there.

Walk away from it for awhile and make something small and quick. I had the same problem getting inspired to finish up a bunch of Christmas projects. I left everything in the sewing area a mess and did some small projects with candy bars. I had fun and now I'm ready to go back and start sewing again. Jean is right, there's a lot of inspiration on the IQ entries.

Good luck!! I took days off and while it did feel good, I am cutting pillow cases out :-) Then those cute Fabric boxes, then the no-sew Fabric Ordanments.
