It all started when I went up to make a surprise Aloha shirt for my husband out of some adorable fabric I bought over a year ago. At the time, I did not have a pattern and guessed on how much I would need....well, two yards is not enough!!! I called shops all the way from Seattle to Portland, including Fabric Depot where I originally bought it, however, nobody has any, much to my dismay.

Switch channels to the D9P I have been working on since last November (one year ago!). I had put it away after a couple months, but got it out the other day and started it up again. I now have 30 blocks done, and I squared them all up today....13" each. The way I am figuring, is I have 12 more blocks to do to make it a good sleeping underneath size, and I may add sashing on top of that to make it a tad longer and wider.

Hopefully, I will get it done by April to take up to the lake!
