Default Washed a red quilt with hubbys underware

Goodness, the stress of Thanksgiving company must have taken over my brain. I washed a quilt, which had a lot of reds, and for some reason threw in DH's underware. The quilt bled a tiny bit (I forgot that it had never been laundered before) but looks fine. DH's underware, however is pink. I'm not sure he will ever wear them again. They aren't the tidy whiteys that he's used to.

Nice to know that if you've run out of Color Catchers that a pair of men's underwear will serve the same purpose.

Many, many years ago hubby thought it was ok to throw a red tie-dyed shirt and shorts (well, they were white to begin with, he said) in with all the whites. I didn't care that all my and my daughter's undies were pink, but he wasn't too thrilled with having to wear pink underwear and t-shirt under his Air Force fatigues. Oh yeah, I left them all that way for a week so he would learn his lesson.

I worked with a woman who came into the office one Monday, mad enough at her husband to spit nails. She was absolutely fuming and carried this attitude toward him for a couple weeks. One Monday she cam in all giddy "I did it, I did it. I finally got even with him." Okay, what did she do? She washed his underwear with her fiberglass curtains . . . that'll teach him. I'm sure he would have been happier with pink tidies.
    Be warned. I am BORED.
    This could be dangerous.

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??

My dh does the laundry and once a loonnnggg time ago, he washed something red in with the whites. We all had pink undies and socks for awhile. It didn't bother me and I don't think it really bothered him. Our son on the other hand........

Reminds me of the time that my husband washed his RED longjohns with his tighty-whiteys. Yep, they were pink. He assumed that since they were all in the underwear category it'd be okay.

I actually washed my IQ quilt in with some clothes and something red snuck in the washer. I ended up with pink instead of beige squares on the quilt. I rewashed it with color catchers, oxi non chlorine bleach and detergent with Oxi bleach in it and the beige squares are beige once again. It might work with the tightie whities [or pinkies as the case may be].
