I suggest all the quilters - scroll to their quilt and copy/paste the direct link on their personal page announcement. I had to click away to the 400's to get to one of them that I wanted to vote on...not sure folks are willing to do so. lol

To CHANGE the voting AFTER the contest has begun, TWICE!???
So now we have to make sure we tell everyone to vote for us in TWO!! places, because the votes will be ADDED from both places???
HOW can you have a contest with TWO separate, yet going to be COMBINED....voting sites???
Not only that-but now I have less votes than I did 2 hours ago--how did that happen???? I even checked the original google album and all those votes have disappeared

@#$%&!! Now that I went to the trouble of establishing a Google + account you start FB voting??? Ya'll need to get your stuff straight. I am very troubled.
You ought to see how confused our friends and families are after posting the google instructions? And they're still confused trying to do it on FB...UGH!

And there are quilts included that didn't follow the instructions. Some of those have likes- that's taking likes away from the people who actually did what they were supposed to........
And what's the point if I, and every single other person, can vote for every single quilt there is??? This should be a talent thing, not a "who can get the most likes because they sent it to more friends" thing. Very poorly done in my opinion. I am really glad I didn't enter.

I will say that I enjoyed looking at all the beautiful creations and I'm amazed at the creativity of using one fabric line for so many wonderful designs! Everyone did a great job and it's impossible to like only one.

Hey ladies! I am very sorry for all the confusion the voting has caused. We trying to appeal to the widest based following as possible! We have had several people email and call us about the fear they will not be able to participate because they do not use Facebook. That is why Google could be an option cause it does not require them to use Facebook to be able to see and vote on all the wonderful quilts that have been made! I understand your frustration but we are trying our best to make it fair for everyone! We appreciate your feedback though and we are always listening to ways we can make things better!

Thank you M*QC rep for the information! And I do agree-voting is like a popularity contest-but is that so bad? Most quilt contests are judged by just 1 or 2 people. Finally, I can have a slight chance to get some votes-just like a close friend of mine who is into serious scrapbooking. Every contest she enters she wins-strictly based on getting friends and family to vote for her pages. LOL!
