    Default Layer Cake DNP

There was a thread discussing the possibility if a layer cake DNP....

I just watched March Block Party.... Eleanor Burns.... She didn't call the block a DNP, but that us what it was.

There are several beautiful samples... Though I didn't like the one she chose to demonstrate with. I have a black and white LC, that I think woukd look pretty with red cornerstones.....

I like the double slice layer cake design better, but this might work for my "Let it Snow" layer cake. I want to make a lap quilt, but I wanted to keep the blocks bigger. Just sewing the 10" blocks together seems a little boring for me. BTW, I really enjoy watching Eleanor Burns, she has so much personality. Also enjoy Mary Fons, she is just quirky enough to hold my interest.

Me too!! I think that is why Jenny made me into a Quilter. They are all interesting to watch and fun.

I really need to get off the exclamation point.
It may give people the idea that I'm bright and cheerful all the time....

LOL..... I like Jenny's style so much better than EB's....or Mary Fond, for that matter. Jenny is herself.....warm, funny, and so calm... Calm is good.... I think her genuineness is why Jenny is so wildly popular.... She's not putting on a shoe, but sharing her expertise and knowledge with us....

I can take EB only so long, and it has taken me a while to get used to Mary Fons' style... She's good when she us just bring herself, but annoying when she gets wound up... And....I know this us petty....but.... I always want to take a brush to
Mary Fons' hair! Oh, my goodness.....

I liked hers and the one on the wall without sashing the best. Otherwise they all seemed the same. She is one crazy little lady. lol

Do you mean the bright one....in jewel tones? I loved that one... It was so bold, and really showed off the simple design....
