Sometimes you really do have to walk away from a project for a while..... This is why I very seldom quilt at night... unless I am handquilting, or stitching down a binding,,,, I make too many mistakes when I am very tired. My mind turns to mush, or something
If i am on my third time froggin I know its time for a break :)

Joan, if you don't have to do it yourself there's no reason for you to know, right?
Hope you NEVER have to experience it.
Hope you NEVER have to experience falling meringue.
Hope you NEVER have to lose a star point.
So, now you know.
Have you recovered from your feast as yet?
Didn't have a feast, not interested. Watched football while sewing.
The frogging that makes me the maddest is when the instructions have a typo and you don't tumble to it. I have enough trouble on my own without a pattern error. Logic flies out the door.
I hate frog sewing too. Even my little 6 yr old knows about frog quilting. She was "quilting" the other night and had to frog it. I had to turn away so she could see the laughing smile on my face. She had to rip a few stitches, and did it like a pro.
I HATE frogging too! I have a super cute, bright pinwheel quilt (twin sized) that I messed up the quilting on the inner of three boarders. I have to frog THREE WHOLE TIMES AROUND the quilt, to fix the problem. The stitches are really tight, (learned to lengthen my stitch after that one!) It's on hold for awhile. Not a UFO permanently, but only because of it's cuteness potential.
I said something out loud about "frog quilting" and my PIBH (pain in the butt hubby) said "what in the world is that" and I did the "RIP IT-RIP IT- RIP IT" and he started laughing and said, "I like that". I was like, you sit here and rip all of this out and see how much you "like it" then.
I hate frogging also and I sure have done more than my share lately.
Have done my share of frogging lately too. I think the late night sewing trying to do the IQ deadline is what made it even more frustrating than usual. Mine is finally on the long arm frame today, but I keep breaking thread, so I don't think I will have it finished in time. I knew I was pushing it, but family time this weekend was priceless! :)
I hate frogging also! I was quilting DH's flannel quilt and I heard a chunking sound. Looked around and everything looked ok. Then it did it again and the thread broke. So I had to rethread and looked at the bottom! Argh! I had to frog quilting stitches out of flannel and I had used soft batting so it took a while to dig the stitches out so I could rip it out!
I took a class where we made a pillow using small blocks. I could not get the center area lined up even after ripping it out 3 times! I had some paper backed fusible and a scrap of fabric that had a pretty flower on it. Hmm - appliqued right over that area. People kept commenting on how pretty my pillow was! So the error turned into a good thing - LOL.
