I TOOK THE PLUNGE...
I finished my large (88" square) Dresden Plate made from 1930's repro fabrics a few months back. I got it back from Reggie three months ago. She even delivered it to me because she was sure I would want to bind it right away.
I have been procrastinating because I know this quilt has to have a scalloped border. This morning I watched jenny's tutorial on scalloped edges for about the 10th time, summoned my courage and marked and cut the scallops. The quilt already looks cute.
Now I'm off to make some bias binding and sew it on. My goal is to have it finished by next Wednesday when I have to report for jury duty. Wish me luck...!

Wow! Now that's a biiiiiigggg dresden plate! I love 30's prints. I bet it is a beauty! Good luck...but I don't think you'll need it. I'm sure it will go smoothly and you'll have time to spare.

Can't wait to see it! And I am right behind you for jury duty - on the 16th for the whole week. I believe in civic duty, but the timing is really bad.......
