    Default The Quiltmaker's Gift

This is an adorably sweet and tender book that I'm about to purchase for my year old grandson to give along with his quilt I made. Okay - truth be known, he'll get this book PLUS the "Happiness is a Warm Blanket" (Charlie Brown) with his first birthday gift. Wanted to share the link because if you use the "look inside" option you'll see how sweet a book it is.

Thank you. I now have to get one for my granddaughters and one for my son. This is a perfect book from me to them all. Thank you so much!

I LOVE that book! I read it to my preschool classes every year when we learned the letter 'Qq' How wonderful that you found it. Isn't it just the sweetest story? At one time, there was a companion book about all the quilts represented in the book, but I wasn't into quilting yet at that time, and didn't justify the expense. I've been looking for it again ever since. Thanks to your post, I found it on Amazon and have ordered it, and the The Quiltmaker's Journey too. The Quiltmaker's Gift is proudly among the shelf of my personal 'favorites' among my several hundred children's books.

I'd never heard of that book - now it's on my 'must have' list. How BEAUTIFUL.

    Be warned. I am BORED.
    This could be dangerous.

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??

I have this book! Hardback, signed by the Author and the Artist. The inside cover of the hardback is the "All The Kings Things" Puzzle/poster. Someone gifted it to me this past summer. Nice book. I just put it away this morning when I put all my Christmas books out for the kids to have access to.
