Iron Quilt status
My Iron Quilt Challenge has been pieced and quilted. Today's agenda is the binding. Hope to have the binding all done today because I am getting a manicure tomorrow and binding will just ruin my nails. Oh well if I still need to bind, my nails will just have to get over it!

Re: Iron Quilt status
Hi Peggy, I'm at the same place as you Binding but that's the good news right, the last step of this long Iron Quilt. Glad you are here and know you'll get yours done in time as well. Enjoy!

Not ready to quilt yet. I plan on quilting Friday and binding Saturday. I will likely be the last entry!

Re: Iron Quilt status
I'm piecing the back today and hoping to get it sandwiched. This is really bringing back memories from long ago, of ole school days, trying to finish up a project. Though they were never as much fun as this has been. But there maybe a few all-nighter's to get-er done!

Re: Iron Quilt status
I JUST finished my quilting too!
What a tremendous effort this quilt has been for me. I am not sure I'll be able to get ALL the binding done today, but I am sure going to try.

Thanks for the giggles this morning!
This reminds me of times when my kids were young and decided to cram for a school test at the last minute! I'm rootin' for all of you and can't wait to see your projects.
Keep focused! Get 'er done!

My quilt wouldn't be that "last minute" except we got invited to Oklahoma on Friday so I need to get it done before we go. Of course, if you go from Iowa to Oklahoma on Friday you drive down I-35 which can allow a stop in Hamilton, Missouri on Black Friday!. YEA!

Re: Iron Quilt status
Oh---- I am so glad I am not the only "get ER done" status. LOL. My problem is getting a good pic. It has been sunny for a week here. I plan on clothes-pinning this to our fence as outside is the best for a pic. I am afraid I am running out of good weather. Each AM I check on the weather. LOL. Almost to the pic stage.
How big does our pics need to be??? Anyone know?
I can't wait to see all the entries. BUT---now I know why I don't enter these things.
Seems as tho, everything went wrong with this crazy quilt. I could write a book. In fact, that might be a good idea for us to write all the challenges we had with this ONE quilt. Sure wish we could add our story with the pic. Would make for some good reading.
Good luck everyone.
