Last night I had my nephew bring my new "trunk o' fabric" into the living room where I pulled everything out and put it in piles based on color, with an extra pile of "this can go to goodwill because I'm NEVER going to use it" stuff. It went back into the trunk when I'd pulled everything out. Also in the trunk about 2 dozen or so butterick patterns for little girls from the late 60s and early 70s. In fact, one of them is a jumper my mom made for me!
The woman selling the fabric was asking $2/yd or $30 for the whole trunk. Most of the fabric is a yard, or large scraps. However, there was one piece that will make a great neutral for a LOT of quilts and projects. There are 8 yards of it!
Going through and organizing is going to take a few more days. When I'm done, I'll be sure to post a picture of my treasure. Now to get some more comic book boards
