I'm making a Christmas outfit for my radiologist. I beat breast cancer, and still have 6 more radiation treatments. My radiologist had heard about how much I love sewing for children and asked me about the possibility of making something for his 5-year-old daughter. I made her a Thanksgiving shirt that the doctor loved, and have finished the Christmas shirt. Just need to make the 3-tiered skirt, matching pants and sequined vest. It's very unusual. Santa's hat on the shirt has leopard fur and the skirt and pants are leopard. The skirt has a red tulle ruffle that shows about 2 inches under the bottom. She'll wear red tights with it. Cute outfit.

Yeah! Can we add 1 extra month between now and Christmas?? Sounds like we all need it

Tonight I'm beginning to quilt my Iron Quilt - a bit nervous because I bought Sulky and Gutterman to see which one my sewing machines likes better.

Pillowcase for Ruby (at least one)

Finish DH's California King Quilt - Needs borders, backing and quilting before Christmas *sigh*

7 Grandkids and no clue what I'm doing yet!!! Began an applique project without knowing How to do it -- got 1 panel done and put it to the side until I learn more.

Quilting is the Best and Most loved part of every project, I can't wait to just sit and quilt quilt quilt tonight!! If you don't hear from me, I'm buried under my quilts hehehe

That's just a few items! Good luck all

Debbie (OH and we will begin Flash Sewing Friday night too helping give us all another Big Boost :-)
Debbie and the cats KayCee (16), Lucky Streak (11), and gods gift Sandia (8)

RIP Bonnie (18) December 2014 We had 10 loving years before you went to see your previous Meow-Mom - tell her I love you too!

Finished one rag quilt yesterday and am putting the second one together now; hope to finish all four that I started LAST year for the grandkids. I have 3 finished unless I decide to put borders on two of them. Also want to put borders on a lap quilt so I can get it and another one to the quilter by the end of the week. If I can get that much accomplished, I will consider it a successful week.

Oh, I also HAVE to finish my rug mug; almost forgot about that one! I want to finish handquilting the outer border for a baby quilt that I have been working on all summer it seems. I only work on it if I have a free evening to watch tv.

I would work on my IQ project, but am still waiting for fabric; may have to forget about that one getting finished on time to enter it. My DD is getting it when it DOES get finished, so that is ok: not going to stew about it.

Maybe we should call this "Squeeze In" sewing. We are squeezing in the time whenever we can manage!

I have the blocks done and now I need to finish assembling the tops.
I have three of the pillow cases pinned for initial construction, two more to go.
The flannel pants need to be elastic-ed & hemmed.
I MUST get that other thing done as it is a giftie for my box.

Ugh. I do have a UFO night at our new LQS. Hopefully that will help!

Good luck to us all! I hope we all have new lists for the Friday start of Flash Sewing!

I just counted. I now have 24 projects, all due by Christmas Eve. Thank God I have a glass of wine on my desk tonight.

Well, my goals for this week BEFORE flash sewing begins is..
Make last giftie for my SS - got that done tonight! Yay
Write up my little notes to go with each month of gifties
Make a trial run pair of PJ pants to see if I like them and if I do, will make some for my daughters for Christmas.
Do a little clean up in my sewing room so I'm not in such a mess
If I can get these things done before Friday night, I'll be very happy.

Fabric I was waiting on for my IQ quilt, arrived yesterday. So now I might have a chance of getting it done on-time I aim to have the borders, backing pieced and it sandwiched by Friday. Also have to finish pj's for my 5 year old for her pj day at school this week.

LOL..non-flash....love it! Well first I need to wind a bobbin and finish out a seam on my sister's quilt. Then I want to do some cleaning because hubby has finally decided to put lights up in my sewing room so I can see. Don't know if I'll get much else done this week.
