God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

    Annika,
Thank you, I really like it, and it just might be the trick that pushes me over the edge to actually try hexagons.

Sew crazy!!! I just love the idea! I could see this for something like potholders, or a great way to use up those odds and ends of batting scraps just sitting around. Oh, or maybe a cool bathmat or something! Or have a ton of fun and use denim in the middle and bright colors around it for a super fun quilt! I love how you can bust a scrap bin with this, and it's nice that it's a simple, as you go thing, love those.

I'm getting ready to actually try a hexagone blanket, after the holidays. I ordered in the half hexi ruler when it was the daily deal a while ago, have already cut most of my strips for the hexis, it'll be a blast. Going to end up making a quilt for my son using fabrics my step-mom sent me for him lol. Sew, in the end it will end up being a quilt from grandma and mom lol, love those!
