    Default Neutrals anyone?

I would like to make a traditional quilt using neutrals, creams, beiges, well you know. Splash color probably blue or green. I am stuck on what pattern to use. So now I am turning to ya'll. What pattern would you use for that color palate?

    Thanks,
    Jo

Not sure how light the colors would be, but an Irish Chain in neutrals would be pretty.

God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

I've seen and admired a log cabin done in neutral colors - done correctly they can be quite spectacular.

    Be warned. I am BORED.
    This could be dangerous.

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??

I agree with Sandy... A Log Cabin is nice in neutrals. Beiges etc.

ohhh, the possibilities! Look in Pinterest or Google low volume quilts. There are some spectacular low volume quilts out there. I like this one, I think it is a Carpenter's Star

They are beautiful. I think I would have a harder time picking out fabrics than brights.

I have one for you. It is called the Bali Flip Pattern and I just made two blocks for a bigger quilt using a light beige and a taupe. Looked good and it is an easy pattern. I will email it to you as it is a pdf file. If anyone else is interested, I can send it to you to too.
Blessed are the children of the piecemakers for they shall inherit the quilts!
