If any of you local Utah quilters need your machine serviced, I'm HIGHLY recommending you call Lee Stout at 801-922-0393. He came to my house, spent about an hour cleaning and tuning my Singer Confidence Quilter, fixed the timing issue, adjusted the bobbin holder so it doesn't move around as much, and adjusted the needle bar height, which was apparently off, and a few other as needed adjustments. Then took my machine through the paces testing various specialty stitches and giving me pointers on how to adjust the tension when I use them. He was pleasant and cheerful, hummed to himself most of the time, asked questions about my latest project. He's been doing this for over 35 years. The cost was $85 flat rate.

Kathy, it's not. I tried for two days to call the good doctor, but he never answered the phone, never returned my calls. I'm quite happy with my second choice
