Default Which items sell the best at craft fairs?

    Hi,

Our local humane society is having a table at a craft fair on December 7 and they are looking for homemade items to sell.

What has been a good seller for you all at craft fairs?

    Fabric Boxes?
Placemats (how many in a set?)
    Table runners (how long?)

    Thanks for any help!
    Gayle

I can't answer your question but I just wanted to say that it is very sweet of you to help our furry four legged friends. I hope they raise lots of money.

I did a craft fair in October and tablerunners were the hot item then. I did the 10-minute tablerunners in fall and Christmasy fabric and also the zigzag table runners that Jenny did the tutorial on in fall colors. I also sold a bunch of candlemats with jar candles. Since you are doing this for the humane society, maybe a little floor mat in the shape of a dog bone for the doggies dishes. Can't think of a shape for cats dishes (fish?) but maybe just a rectangle or oval with some kitty material.

    Good luck

I did a craft fair in Nov. and the tablerunners didn't sell. I made those rolled up placemat candy dishes, they sold immediately, plus I got orders for more of them. Totebags sold, maybe using doggie fabric. I didn't have fabric boxes. Little tissue holders were a hot item, because they were inexpensive. And they are so easy to make!

God Bless you Gayle for helping the Animals!!!

People are impulse buyers at the Shelter gift stores since they are shopping to help the Animals -- I hope you have a great supply of Cat/Dog fabric's and the bone fabrics too.

Quick items that can sell for under $10 - Fabric Boxes, Placemats, a simple tote, Table Runners with cat/dog theme. gosh everyone has such great ideas. Wishing you the Best Luck and (((((Hugs)))) from the animals

Some home made dog biscuts would be fun. I bought my one dd a cutter that had a recipie. You could put them in a draw string pouch.

Oh and some animal toys with squeakers. I bought mine on Etsy.

My girl friend made triangular scarves in animal fabric (for dogs) and her sister sold them along with homemade dog biscuits. They were good sellers.
