    Default LOVE my binding tool!

I just want to tell everyone how much I love that little binding tool from MSQC!! I used it on a baby quilt recently and got it right the first time! Now, I'm a BINDING MACHINE!! Years ago I made two log cabin wall hangings from Eleanor Burns Quilt In a Day and also a beautiful diamond log cabin tree skirt. I didn't put binding on any of these projects because I just didn't think I could do it . . . I'm ashamed to say that I just zig-zagged around the edges and called it a day. Well, I'm proud to say that these projects are FINALLY finished with beautiful bindings! It's amazing what a difference it makes to the look of them. And I owe it all to Jenny Doan and her binding tool! I'll never have an unbound quilt again

I am new to quilting and I find adding the binding to be a challenge. Thanks for sharing - - I am going to take a look at this tool.

That's wonderful. I have very good luck with the binding too, also. Can you post pictures of your quilts?

I use the binding tool also.

I just did the first quilt without it, using another of Jenny's tuts. I wanted a 3" binding....worked like a charm.

Now that you've got the binding part down you can try using it to make a braid quilt, another good use for it and Jenny has a tutorial for that one too. Have fun with it!

I really like my binding tool as well. My one attempt to do binding without it didn't go so well. LOL!

I love my binding tool! I find myself sometimes not using it at all because it is teaching me the technique. I still go back to it though if it's been a while since I've put on a binding lol. I'm glad it works for you.
    Thank you,

Can someone tell me what the binding tool is? I make my binding myself -- cut 2.25" strips and fold in half, wrong sides together. Stitch raw edge to front of quilt and fold over, then handstitch folded edge to back of quilt.

What does a binding tool do for you?
