I have a "new" baby, too!

Last week I placed a bid on a vintage Morse (made by Toyota) Machine on ebay and I won it! I saw the same model a couple of months ago that had been completely refurbished, but didn't have the cash at the time to bid. It was a really pretty hot pink! I really would have liked to have had that one, but I found the same model in Blue for a lot less. From the pictures, it looks hardly used and my sewing machine repair lady said that it is a very good machine. I began looking for a heavy duty machine so that my DD can make custom leashes and collars for dogs. This one will stitch through three or four layers of leather and eight layers of denim.

I am so excited - can't wait to get it. I will send it to the doctor for a complete checkup before trying to use it, though.

oh my gosh Exciting!!! well blue versus pink - as long as she runs through all that leather, what a good find! Hope she is everything and more after your sewing doc makes her purr :-) I find it interesting DD will be making dog collar's and leashes, think this is a great market and wish her well. Don't forget Photo's!!! :-)
