    Default Sandwiching a quilt

I'm just venting!! Last night I went to sandwich a pin wheel quilt together so I can start hand quilting it. I bought a backing for it. It is 108 inches by 108 inches. Mind you, it is already pre cut ready to use. The batting I used is from a roll I bought from Joann fabrics {at a good deal}. Here I am trying to lay everything out. Our basement which is done has a lot of floor space for me to do this. What my problem was, is the fact that I pay good money for a backing and it has a curve in it at the end where someone didn't cut it straight. I hate when you get fabric and the edges aren't straight or the won't even give an extra inch. I got it together finally!! Started quilting it last night. Just wanted to share my complaint.

Could you have taken it back? I think I might have.... After all, you paid for something you didn't get...

I thought of doing that. But I was already in the middle of getting it together. Next time I will check it out first before buying it.

You can vent anytime Annette... we are all here for you... and for each other! How frustrating that must have been... been there, done that. It's one reason I buy extra fabric, sometimes as much as a quarter or third of a yard, just in case.
