    Default HELP! Timing is off

I have a Singer Confidence Quilter 7469q sewing machine. It's been just fine until yesterday, when the timing was suddenly off. I took it apart enough to see that the needle is missing the trough, which means the thread hook isn't picking up the thread. I thought at first it was a tension issue, but that is clearly not the case. DH thinks he can fix it, if I can find a repair manual. He's very capable in most areas, but this is my baby and he's making me nervous. Does anyone know how to adjust the timing on this machine? Thanks!
If you can't see it from 50 yards away on a galloping horse, it doesn't matter.

I dont know how to fix it but I have the same machine. I've heard you can mess up the timing by running over pins.
Have you checked Singers site ? or just google repair manual...I've done that for other things.

Feeling for you - that always happens when I'm in the middle of something important . . .
    Be warned. I am BORED.
    This could be dangerous.

When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
    They are usually 90 degrees.

A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??
