Since many are having a long weekend for Veterans Day - thought I'd see if anyone would like to make a pillowcase for a child for who will be spending their Christmas in the hospital.
Cyber Elves Give Back's goal is to collect 900 pillowcases for 6 Hospitals in 6 States and I have 119 received to date. We have 39 members in M* and 140* on FB - Your help is greatly appreciated to make our First Year/Drive a success!
All it takes is a 3/4 Yard of Focal Fabric and 9" of Cuff Fabric, should you have 2" of an Accent Fabric laying around, voila! You Are Set!!
Below is a great tutorial for the Burrito Wrap Pillowcase by Crafty Gemini - With my preferred measurements of 27" Focal Fabric, 9" Cuff Fabric, and a 2" Accent. If your machine does not like the six layers of fabric at the cuff seam, please don't struggle with the added 2" Accent Fabric. This is to be fun! Just make your pillowcase with the Focal and Cuff fabric.
