I've been working on this for awhile now after moving and new grandbaby and blah blah blah..
anyway, do you all think it is too busy to put on my bed? I'm not near done, but not sure if I like it now.
Please give me your honest answers..

I think your quilt is lovely and it looks to be neutral colors and brown centers? Can't quite tell on my monitor. You can always add a couple small decorative pillows or a bed shawl in a near solid color to draw the eye away from the pattern. Just pick one of your favorite colors and go with it, just as a decorative accent color. You might find some inspiration at the Design Seeds website.

I normally do not like a lot of stars, but the colors you used are Soothing. Calming (my monitor shows tans/creams/deep brown or green) this is very soothing to look at and gorgeous! Unless you need it bigger I wouldn't add a thing to distract from the beauty

I would buy this and put this on MY bed in a Minute -- Like the others, the favorite compliment knowing WE would want it :-)

Well, what is 'busy' for one, won't be for another, but I think it's a lovely quilt that looks beautiful in your room. It is a busy pattern, but you have done yours in three colors that are soft and restful, so that makes a huge difference. And I see the walls in your bedroom are a neutral color, so the pattern in the quilt adds a nice little punch to the room. I think it looks great and quite beautiful in your bedroom. :)

Patterns with the same quiet repeating colors just say design...not busy. Busy would have been adding large prints or making it with scrappy loud colors. You have done an excellent job...don't second guess yourself!

It's a lovely quilt...not too busy at all. It will be the centerpiece of the room.
I love this quilt and hunters star is on my to do list. Might have to move it up the list now. I like the larger pillow cover too. It really adds to the pattern.
Now to check the stash and see if I have anything that will work for this. Love the calming colors.

The only way I would consider this pattern too busy would be if you had used very bright colors with busy prints. But your fabric choices have been low-key neutrals, so the pattern stands out beautifully without being overwhelming. I love it!

I think it goes well with your bed frame and the wall that is shown. I don't see any busy wall paper or anything. The quilt is beautiful!
