Default Sugar Block Club quilt needs layout suggestions

I'm in the Sugar Block Club, anyone else? So, it's coming to the end and I've been thinking of a layout for these blocks. They are traditional patchwork blocks and I used a set of mottled blender fabrics to make them.

I want to make the quilt as big a possible, hoping I can make it large enough for my queen sized bed. So I came up with this tilted design.

This is just one of the many possibilities I conjured up. some of the other designs have the inner frame the same color, some have the same out block color.

I have no idea what color to use for sashing (the white spaces in the picture) or the cornerstones, or the border. And the actual coloring for the inner frame and outer block aren't set either. I just randomly picked 24 different colors; I will work on the colors and the blocks later.

Any suggestions? I'm open to anything!

I am doing these as well. Have not even started thinking about a layout. I love the tilted blocks you have done. With such a mix of colors in the blocks I like the idea of white as the inner border and around the blocks. And I really like the idea of the outer border bringing those colors back

I am looking forward to finishing mine

With so many different colors I think black sashing would look really good. How big is each block? Making 12 blocks into a queen size quilt is going to be tough unless they are big blocks.
