Paypal - do you use it

Hello all,

I use paypal where I can. I find I like that I do not have to input my credit card information on all different sites. Also, a bonus is paypal has a record of every order.

I remember reading someone had problems with fraud on credit cards.

Does anyone else use paypal and have you had good luck with it - or have you had problems I should be sure to look out for?

I use it for purchasing things and have never had any problems with it.

I use and have used it for years, I love paypal because it's safe. If something goes wrong with paypal, you have the ability of reporting it. Kind of like on ebay. Plus I like it because of the fact that you don't have to enter in your info, just sign in at the checkout and information you want shared is right there and already entered. :) Haven't had any problems with my paypal account as of yet "knock on wood". :)

I use it a lot for both purchasing and selling homes school curriculum. The one thing I would suggest is checking your bank account often. I did have mine hacked once. My husband, very irritated, asked me what I had purchased through paypal for almost $200. Yes, there had been a $199 something cents charged to our checking account from paypal. Not a happy day. I contacted paypal right away but the only way things could be resolved right away was to put a stop payment on the charge. That cost over $30 plus the over draft fee it caused and paypal did not cover any of it.

I was advised to change my pass word, which I did and I do now every yr or so.

I use pay pal for online purchases. I haven't had a problem with it at all and feel safe with its protection.

thats probably a good idea on the password change, think I will do that tonight

I also also like to use Bill Me Later when I can....send you a monthly statement.

Hubby uses it all the time and we haven't had a problem, yet!

Have used Paypal since it originally came out years ago and have had good luck with it. A couple of time they have returned my money when I didn't receive a purchase.

I used PayPal when I had my home staging business. It was a great way for out of town sellers to pay me for staging and monthly rentals.

I have never had a problem using Pay Pal. It is safer than using a CC.

A few years back I had a similar incident. Someone had purchased a $1,500.00 camera and paid with my PayPal account. I was contacted by the store where the camera was purchased and asked if I had ordered a camera through their online site and was having it shipped to New Hampshire. Well, obviously not so I contacted PayPal and they guided me through the process and I changed my password. Other than that one incident I never had another problem and have used PayPal many times since then.

I've used Paypal for years with no problems. It's just that there are a few sites still out there that don't accept Paypal.

I use it and like it very much. I've never had any problems. :)

I use PayPal every chance I get and I've had great luck with it. It's when I use my credit card online that I have had trouble.

I have been using PayPal for years without a problem. You have to be careful with emails though, some "look" like they are PayPal, but are not genuine. I never click a PayPal link in my email. I always open a new browser and type in the address.

I use my Paypal MC - the credit card side - so I get cash back . . but I believe you have to have a business account for the cash back . . the only issue I have ever had ... was on a few international order I only ship via priority with tracking -- I do not ship flat rate international anymore . . I have to have that tracking number . . .

just a suggest -- just keep a close eye on ''all'' your transactions . . especially if your an online seller . .

Love PayPal!! When we had my clothing business online, it was the only way I would take payments. Guaranteed for both buyer and seller and they have the best encryption system on earth - They have to! So happy the M* takes it as well :-) life is so good

If a store takes paypal I use it every time. Love the safety and security of it.

Love it, use it all the time.

HOWEVER, I have had loads and gobs of SPAM/SCAM e-mails lately asking for information. PayPal does NOT do that . . . don't fall for it - you can always check the sender e-mail address if you are suspicious.

I've been using PayPal for years and love it. No problems here.

I couldn't figure it out...
