Hi Ladies, Have any of you ever made a Bento Box quilt? I love the design -- very modern looking and am thinking of doing one. It looks like -- at least what I have learned so far from looking online -- that you sew a type of courthouse step pattern -- middle square, bordered by alternate strips of fabric -- then cut that square into quarters. Then you alternate light and dark (one square has a light center, next one has dark center). Does that sound about right? I don't want to buy the pattern -- rather like to figure it out myself. Any help is appreciated!!!
