I have been wanting to do a house quilt for a long time! I made a wall hanging LONG time ago and it was so cute and I can't remember the pattern, probably from a coloring book as that is all we had back in the day! ANd I remember I put a little piece of lace under the bottom edge of the roof where it meets house. It was so cute, but in moving so much, I know I sold it or gave it away at one of the moves but have thought about that piece so many times since. I haven't found a pattern that I liked .... until now! And I have alot of charms that I wont' be using for a quilt so this is perfect. Thanks for posting it!

How cute would that be to make a beach type theme. Do a small border with "sand" for the houses to sit on and replace the black with sky blue. Use pastels for the houses!
