I am a little late because I didnīt see this thread yesterday until I was going to bed. Itīs already Saturday morning here, but today I am going to finish the back of the quilt I am making for DH, he wants a pieced back.
I have a few more squares to make into blocks for the falling charms quilt I have laid out. Then need to get the blocks arranged and sew them together. A good project for today ,
Not this time ...errands to run and work...I have a nine hour shift today with a sore throat coming on....should be fun!
I'll join the fun as soon as I've had my coffee
I have a baby quilt to finish today. The little boy is soon to be born, so I need to get it done.

OK - I finished up the baby quilt. Now to have a bite to eat and then more sewing on my Iron Quilter top![]()

Marebear, what a fun and happy quilt! You should be so proud to present this to that lucky mommy-to be.
I set out to work on some rag quilts. I thought I had finally killed my cheapo singer (it is the devil but the machine I have for now). It was being crazy like normal, and I thought it had finally broke, but my husband helped me straighten it out. I got a doll sized rag quilt done, and snipped. Now I just need to wash it.
Got the sewing room swept. Hunted high and low for 3 missing items.... found my "travel bag" for a quilting class and the sewing machine manual for my small machine. Could not find the box with the various feet for the old machine....think the new machine's feet are interchangeable. Hmmm...where could it be?
Worked some on trying some applique on a January wall hanging. My first real attempt at machine applique...so far, I am making progress. Maybe I can teach myself this skill...

Our lives are like quilts bits and pieces, joy and sorrow, stitched with love.
Yeah!!! Thank you all, I know it helps to know others are dashing into their sewing rooms as we imagine sewing around the globe (no matter what your time difference 24 hours to get anything moving forward is the same 24 hours :-) This helps me sew much!!
Mary Love those cute little elephants in this what a great job on rotating them too and I like the FMQ. Happy quilt for a newborn, now the baby must come?
almost 2 hours left for me, only 4:30 ish -- ok 1 1/2 hours but I'm off the boards to see how much further can get done and take a few photo's
