Love is the thread that mends worn hearts.
Well, at least you're a Smirnoff gal! I used mine shortly after making the first zippered bag. LOL
Your bag is lovely and the next one will go much faster. The zippered bags look so nice and make things secure. I had to watch Jean's video several times to get my lining on the zipper with the correct side on the zipper. Somehow, my brain just didn't like going in reverse. haha Your bag turned out great and I love the fabric.
OH, my goodness. That is georgeous! I love the fabric, the color, and you did a great job.
I totally understand the whole time thing though. I have made one tote and could not believe how long it took me.
Be blessed,
Sandy
God has a plan and it is a good plan.
Now I know what I am doing wrong, - no booze in the sewing room. Need to change that.
Beautiful work!
Thanks everyone for the nice compliments....even with all the set backs, I really enjoyed making this bag. It's actually one of many I need to make for christmas gifts for family members. This one is for one of my sisters.
I guess I should add some egg nog to that booze line up - LOL
It's great! I had to watch the tut for the first two I made and I am comfortable with zippers.

Please treat others as you would hope others would treat those you love.

Carol, the tote is so beautiful. It was worth all the effort and extra time. Have watched Jean´s tutorials too, they are great. When I made my bag I only had a written description. It took me forever to figure out where all the fabric and stuff has to go.
Amy, yours is very pretty too. I like the colors and fabrics a lot.
It's gorgeous! I absolutely love that beautiful paisley liner.... You know.....some quilters swear a little booze/wine makes them better quilters..... Hmmmm?
