That is exactly it!! This is all one huge marketing strategy for them and everyone involved. It's fun for us, but I think everyone needs to remember it is still a business, they're making loads of money off of this.

Whether you use Facebook or not, it will allow a larger number of people to vote... So really it's only helping those of us who enter the contest, no harm, no foul. Plus it's also only the first round of voting. Once they get the entries down to the top 25 or so, then the voting will return to a seperate webpage.
