I've 'liked' a lot of things...

I just discovered today, that what I thought was the 'like' button was not. I was hitting the 'like' to the left, not the bottom right.
So if you feel like I overlooked your latest, my apologies.
I have seen some beautiful projects of late, but I was hitting the wrong button!

I think they are both options - one goes as a "thanks for this post" and the other counts as a like or heart on the front page. I don't think either is wrong - the option on the right just became available a couple of months ago.

The great thing about the Like feature is you can go back to it to find a great tut instead of having to search for it! I didn't see the value in it until I figured that out. lol

lol go to your profile and it will show how many likes you got and how many you gave. All the subject titles will be there.

I just discovered that LIKE option while reading this...I've seen hearts on my posts but I didn't know how they got there. I'm sure there are some shortcuts on this site that I haven't discovered yet...perhaps if I went and read the "how to use this site" forum I would figure some stuff out.
