    Default Is there a way?

I was wondering if there is a way for people to convert pictures they are loading from facebook pages so all can see them? I do not have facebook or intend to get on facebook. I have seen several posts where pictures were linked to facebook and could not see them. I also know I am not the only one with this issue. One post stated the poster didn't feel like changing them so all could see. Myself I find this kind of rude if your posting on the forum for all to see and if you do not have facebook you can't see them. I enjoy this forum a lot and the people hear and love looking at the pictures for inspiration and to see what others post, but if I have to have facebook to access pictures ... well you get the idea. Just my thoughts. Thanks for looking.

I also am not on facebook and no desire to join. I like seeing pictures people post and think if you post a pic it should be available to all, or just pm it to those you want to see it and don't mention it to all. This forum is all the social media I need.

I understand that many people don't want to join Facebook and that's understandable.

People may post photos there rather than here because on Facebook you can control who has permission to see the photos. On this site, anyone in the world can see every single thing you post, including photos. No one has to be a member to view the forum or the posts. I guess if someone is posting family photos or other personal things, they'd like more control over who sees it.

Still, I agree with you that it doesn't make sense to link to photos on Facebook because it kind of defeats the point of this forum!!

I appreciate it when that facebook link isn't used. The computer I access the forum on doesn't like facebook so I often miss those photo's because I don't want to run to the other computer. This is a great point because not everyone realizes that everyone doesn't facebook. Thanks for bringing it up!

I am on Facebook but primarily to share with my family. I can understand the problem those who are not on FB would have in seeing the great work posters are doing. I like seeing the work others are doing here on the forum so I can go back and revisit a post. If a link or photo on FB is taken down or changed, you have no way of seeing the project.
MSQC is on FB and I like reading and seeing the photos they post. Not all of it shows up here on the forum and that to me is a shame as I'm sure you'd all like to see what they do share. They were also running some contests and giving a heads up on Live Chats.

Maybe Al can think of a way to have a special forum on here titled "What is on MSQC Facebook today" for those who don't have access? Just a thought.

I post all my pictures on facebook because I take them with my phone. I can not post them to this site from my phone. I then save them to my computer once they are on facebook and the ones I want here, I post here. It's really quite simple.

I do like Bubba, take pics with my phone, post them on fb and than save it from there to my pc and than post them at the Forum. I do it this complicate ways, because there is no possibility for non-facebooker to open the links. I can understand everybody who does not want to have a fb account. I wouldn`t have one either, but this is the door to my younger relatives. All my nieces and nephews comunicate with me since I have a fb account and this is worth it for me and the only reason.

What I don't understand is the people that post the links here that want you to look, having their FB settings so tight that no one can access what they post, whether they have a FB account or not.

All they need to do on FB is set up an album for pictures they want/don't mind sharing with everyone and making the security settings on that album alone open to everyone.

I take my pictures with my phone too. I don´t upload them on facebook but send them to my email address via email. This way I can also make them smaller because it "asks" which size you want to send them. Works great.

I understand what you are saying about the facebook pictures.....that is why I posted how I do mine, so hopefully they might as well. Most of my pictures I just message to myself on facebook, so nobody there but me see them anyway unless I move them over for viewing.
