When I have a design on the wall I freeze up and can't seem to get it to the machine. I bought some felt so I could make another wall. I have to finish at least one. Right? lol

Your mind and body are telling you to slow down. Listen!
I go thru weeks of no mojo, it's a combo of, pain, mild depression and PTSD, and I've finally given in to it, knowing it will end quicker if I don't fight it. Instead, while I'm on an 'up' period, I make the effort to stockpile handwork projects next to my recliner for the 'down' periods.
Sending a hugg!! Pami
Take a break. When the project becomes a chore versus a joy, then it is time to go do something else for awhile.
Give yourself some "me" time. The projects will be sitting right where you left them for when your ready to start up again.

I wasn't getting anything accomplished - not much since I quit smoking - so I went into my sewing room and just started on something.....a little at a time....how many blocks can I sew together in 5 or 10 minutes....surprised myself and got my mojo back...currently have two quilts sandwiched and waiting to be quilted; another one just waiting for borders and another one the fabric is purchased for and it is next in line and I will be cutting into that one today if it is the last thing I do....I am having a ball but it took quite awhile to get here...and life does get in the way...it will happen when it is time...and then you will be sewing up a storm...and you begin the "cycle" all over again....have been there and done that so many times over the years...you are fine and the "mojo" will come back!
Hugs and prayers to all,
Susie
I am right there with you!!! I have not sewn in almost a month! I finally forced myself to go up there yesterday to make something small, which I did. I made a small cord keeper (to put your cell cord or charging cord in so it's not all over the place), but it only took about ten minutes and I was done. At least it was a start.....
pat.
No rain....no rainbows!
Gee it's nice to know I have company! I get like this too, where I go all guns and that's it for a,while...this seems to happen when I'm having a problem with a block, a,color scheme, or,what not... Read somewhere that we procrastinate because we're afraid of failure...not sure...then I feel envious of all the projects my friends get done... Golly!
You are all so great! Some of the posts made me chuckle and some made me cry just a bit. I pray that I get to meet more of you here on earth but if not then we will have one big quilting bee in heaven. LOL
Be blessed,
Sandy
God has a plan and it is a good plan.
