yes, with Matilda. Did another practice sandwich and I think I'm ready for the quilt tomorrow!!! I'm very excited. I plan to use spray adhesive, so we will see just how that goes.

I did learn, the hard way, that the foot pedal she has and my gimpy right foot do not get along. I will try to remember to use only my left foot from here on out. My husband just called from the lake (sounding a little sad I'm not there) and he asked how my foot was doing and I told him. He said he will try to find a knee lever for the machine....I know they have them, but Matilda does not have one. That may be worth trying.

Last night, I was excited to find a package on my porch. It was the magnetic light I ordered Wednesday night. Made it here in three days! It makes the world of difference in the ability to see so much better in the sewing field and makes me much more confident in my sewing now that I can see better.

I'll be sure to let you know how tomorrow goes....

Yeah!!! Hope you can get the knee lever to help out, sounds like you're having a Blast with Matilda! Whoo hooo you go woman. Aren't you glad you gave yourself permission for some me time? Yes, I'm sure he misses you being there but with the traffic and bumpy road your back and neck thank you (oh and Matilda needed some bonding time with you too :-)
