    Default Nothing makes me madder than improper shipping - My rant for today

    Today I open the box from Fabric.com to check my order and to my disappointment I see my order of Heat N Bond crumpled up . The fabric was okay but why in the world would any company send Heat N Bond crumpled/crinkled up like that along with some black speckles on some parts of the paper as well. Get a bigger box to send the merchandise the right way and not try to fit something in a box that obviously is too small. Did the shipper not realize this is not packing material and a customer expects it to be flat, unwrinkled and able to use it????

    Fabric.com is fast and cheap, but they do the worst job of cutting and packing! I've stopped using them for that reason. I LOVE Fat Quarter Shop. Everything is so carefully cut and packed and the receipts are organized and elegant. It's been a while since I've purchased from M*, but as I recall, they do a good job of packing.

    Hmm. I'd take a photo and ask for a refund/replacement.

    Fabric.com does cut kind of sloppy, but when I measure, the cuts have always been to the +. There is no excuse for the crumpled Heat N Bond though.

    I would be livid. I would contact customer service right away. I use thousandsofbolts.com a lot and they are as careful with packing the fabric as M* is. I do occasionally receive a chewed up envelop on smaller orders but that isn't he packers fault.

    The person packing must not know what they were packing.

    Personally, I like fabric.com. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience. I'm sure you can just call them on Tuesday and they will take care of it. I got a couple charms that were misscut last week from them and they were quick to send out a new pack by (it seems) return mail. I'm pretty sure they will take care of this for you the same way.

    I had already sent a email to Fabric.com letting them know how disappointed I was. It was just so annoying to open a box and see the mess. I ordered the Michael Miller Waves fabric from Fabric.com and the MSQC order had already been submitted so I just thought to add the Heat N Bond to the Fabric.Com order. Bad mistake.

    I've used Fat Quarter Shop before but they didn't have the Michael Miller Waves fabric I want and Fabric.com was the only online store I could find it. I agree, FQS does a nice job of packaging and shipping.

    I'll have to get to Joann's sometime this coming week and see if they have it in stock.

    I do buy alot from fabric.com. I got warped accuquilt go mats. They were great though, paid for the return shipping and sent me new ones. In every job there are those that just don't care, think there are some packers there that just don't care it's just merchandise to them
