    Smile lecture input

So, next week (only 7 days of waiting left) I will be attending the Quilt Expo in Madison, WI. wiquiltexpo.com If anyone is going or has some input on suggested lectures to attend I would appreciate it. I would like to go to at least one lecture each day and will be there for all 3 days.
    Thanks!!!!!

Hi Beth, I looked at the website and could not find a list of the lectures.....if they could email a list to you then you could let us know what type of lectures they have. I did see on the site that they have a couple of ticketed events......one with David Taylor......he does beautiful landscape quilts. I came across some of his work on pinterest recently. Look them up.........gorgeous work!

Hope you have a great time at the quilt show...........can I go too?!

This is the link where all the lectures are listed: Wisconsin Quilt Expo ? Lectures

Basically, you have to go to store.wiquiltexpo.com and then click a link on the left that will give more information on what you're wanting to register for.

I wish I could go! It's about 4 hours from me so it's not too far but I don't think I can. I've never been to one before. Maybe one will come closer to where I live sometime.

    Have fun!

No advice, but I think I need to schedule visits with some of my WI groups and maybe drive up early!

After pouring over all the options-they have about 70 different lectures scheduled-I have decided on 3 (maybe) Color Confidence, Borders & Bindings and Jennifer Chiaverini.

I would definitely take "Amazing Quilt Makeovers" by Nancy Zieman. Everything she does is top drawer and she's an excellent teacher.

I'd say double check to make sure that preregistration isn't required. It would be disappointing if you showed up and all the seats were taken. Have a blast.
